Massage Therapist - The Cliffs Hotel and Spa

Our Spa is expanding, and we are in search of a talented, gracious, and enthusiastic part-time Massage Therapist who can deliver luxurious treatments that enhance our guests' experience. We are eager to connect with you


Role Responsibilities:

The Massage Therapist will be tasked with cultivating a serene and opulent atmosphere within The Spa by delivering massage services aimed at enhancing circulation, fostering relaxation, and alleviating stress. Additionally, the Massage Therapist must demonstrate proficiency in appropriate draping techniques, professional communication, and maintain the standards set forth by The Cliffs' Mission & Values. This role also involves adhering to California State Board regulations and ensuring the cleanliness of treatment rooms and shared spaces. Collaboration with Spa Attendants, Spa Reservationists, Spa Leads, and the Spa Manager is essential.


Physical Demands:

  • Ability to remain on your feet for the entirety of the shift (4-8 hours)
  • Capability to perform multiple massages consecutively
  • Repetitive motion capabilities
  • Endurance to utilize muscles for extended periods
  • Dexterity to handle and manipulate tools and equipment

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid CA Massage Therapist Certification
  • Willingness to comply with local permit regulations upon hiring
  • Trained in Responsible Beverage Service, with ABC certification
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Sales aptitude and ability to effectively communicate service offerings
  • Maintain a positive and approachable demeanor throughout shifts
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills across departments
  • Previous experience in hospitality is advantageous
  • Experience in a luxury spa setting is preferred
