POSITION SUMMARY
Deliver exceptional massage treatments to guests utilizing various props and products. Offer body care services including scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy. Evaluate guest requirements and inquire about any contraindications (e.g., allergies, high blood pressure, and pregnancy) prior to commencing services. Stay informed about contemporary techniques and modalities pertinent to the field. Guide guests to and from treatment areas. Organize the workstation, treatment room, and drapes. Regularly check in with guests to ensure comfort, safety, and security throughout the service. Promote and market spa and salon services, including retail products associated with the Spa. Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of tools. Ensure the treatment area and workstation are tidy throughout the shift, dispose of waste and soiled linens, and secure supplies and equipment at the end of each shift. Adhere to the scheduled time throughout the day. Address inappropriate guest behavior in accordance with standard operating procedures, which may include halting a treatment and notifying a supervisor or manager. Keep skills and licensure current as per regional regulations.
Report any accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management; complete safety training and certifications. Comply with all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; safeguard company assets. Greet and acknowledge all guests in line with company standards; anticipate and respond to guest service needs; express gratitude to guests with genuine appreciation. Communicate with others using clear and professional language. Foster and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by Supervisors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
Related Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
License or Certification: State or Regional Massage License.
The compensation range for this role is $16.00 to $16.00 per hour and may include a 401(k) plan, accrued paid time off and/or sick leave, and other wellness benefits. Benefits may be subject to general eligibility, waiting periods, contributions, and other requirements and conditions.
