Position Title: Project Manager - IT

Position Summary:

We are in search of a skilled and motivated Technical Project Manager to enhance our innovative team at Synergy Global Technologies Inc. This role is pivotal in overseeing vendor collaborations within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) domain, focusing on the assessment of products aimed at automating user provisioning functionalities.

The Technical Project Manager will facilitate coordination among diverse teams, manage project timelines, and ensure seamless communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders. A robust foundation in project management coupled with technical expertise in identity and access management systems is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to collaborate with various engineering and security teams, possess exceptional communication skills, and exhibit proficiency in creating both technical and non-technical documentation. A strong passion for technology and the capability to work autonomously are also crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct vendor product assessments by collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish project objectives, scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Develop product evaluation frameworks, gap analyses, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Utilize expertise in identity and access governance to perform comparative analyses between leading market solutions and internal systems.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to formulate project plans, timelines, and key milestones.
  • Drive project execution by coordinating efforts, providing clear guidance, and ensuring adherence to commitments.
  • Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, offering updates and managing expectations.
  • Apply project management methodologies and tools to navigate projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure phases.
  • Organize regular project status meetings, identify potential risks and issues, and proactively address challenges.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including charters, plans, schedules, and reports.
  • Monitor project advancement, track essential metrics, and deliver regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with existing application teams to translate requirements into cost-effective solutions, leveraging knowledge of Active Directory and Identity Management.
  • Assess available market products and recommend the most suitable options and features for specific scenarios.
  • Evaluate technical aspects and implement third-party solutions within the organizational environment.

Qualifications:

  • 8 to 12 years of experience in IT.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead development initiatives and manage global stakeholder expectations across multiple projects.
  • Experience with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) products such as Active Directory, Entra ID, Okta, SailPoint, and Saviyant.
  • Experience in conducting vendor evaluations, scoring, gap analyses, and preparing leadership presentations.
  • Technical proficiency in Active Directory and system integration, including a high-level understanding of Workday, ServiceNow, and SCCM.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined individual capable of planning and executing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional technical, analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing talent within the technology sector.
