Position Overview

Salary:
$80,000 - $110,000 a year, depending on experience.

We are in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic Event Marketing Manager to enhance our dynamic team at Marrina Decisions. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting and implementing strategic event initiatives that elevate brand visibility, cultivate qualified leads, and strengthen connections with essential industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and oversee a detailed event marketing strategy that aligns with our overarching marketing objectives.
  • Design and execute exceptional first-party and third-party event experiences.
  • Manage our client's representation at events, including booth design, presentations, speaking engagements, and ancillary dinners.
  • Coordinate all event logistics, budgeting, and vendor relationships to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop lead capture methodologies, oversee lead follow-up post-event, and collaborate with the sales team to convert leads into customers.
  • Analyze event ROI through key performance indicators to assess data and enhance future initiatives for optimal impact.
  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to guarantee flawless event execution.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and identify new event opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in event marketing with a demonstrated history of success.
  • Expertise in the event lifecycle, from planning and execution to evaluation and ROI analysis.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively to meet team objectives.
  • Experience in budget management and fiscal accountability.
  • Creativity and passion for crafting engaging experiences that resonate with attendees. Bonus points for familiarity with event technology platforms and an interest in AI.
  • Knowledge of generative AI tools for marketers to enhance efficiency in marketing processes and drive innovation.
  • Innovative thinker with the ability to generate fresh ideas and translate them into impactful event strategies.
  • Flexibility to adapt to various roles in a fast-paced startup environment, pivoting as necessary to achieve business results.
