Job Title: Commercial Roofing Sales/Estimator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven sales professional to join our team. As a Commercial Roofing Sales/Estimator, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with industrial and commercial building owners and facility managers, effectively communicating the company's strengths and value propositions as the preferred provider of roofing solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with industrial and commercial building owners and facility managers.
  • Effectively communicate the company's strengths and value propositions as the preferred provider of roofing solutions.
  • Analyze and diagnose customer roofing needs, matching them with suitable solutions such as replacement, repair, or preventative maintenance.
  • Develop cost budgets for roofing proposals to present to owners' representatives.
  • Draft proposals for general contractors, private clients, and other customers.
  • Review blueprints and documentation to prepare bids and estimates.
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members to formulate estimates and resolve issues.
  • Communicate changes and adjustments to cost estimates with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in commercial roofing construction.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process with a profit-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to comprehend both technical and financial aspects of construction operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal team members.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications.
  • Knowledge or experience in the roofing industry.
