Position Overview
As a Corporate Regional Dietitian, you will be responsible for mentoring and guiding registered dietitians and clinical managers within your designated area to ensure high standards of clinical competence and productivity. Collaborate with corporate and regional dietitians to enhance corporate clinical nutrition initiatives. Play a key role in maintaining quality care standards and improving patient satisfaction and safety. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations in all clinical nutrition services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and mentor registered dietitians and clinical nutrition managers
- Evaluate dietitians' compliance with regulatory standards
- Conduct assessments and provide coaching to team members as necessary
- Oversee staffing and productivity to guarantee sufficient clinical coverage
- Implement processes and initiate improvements in areas needing attention
- Develop or adjust facility-specific menu cycles to meet the nutritional needs of patients in accordance with regulations
- Guide the patient services team to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
- Conduct clinical and sanitation survey readiness audits and formulate corrective action plans
- Adhere to HHS policies and facility procedures
Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and Licensed Nutritionist (LDN) or Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN) as mandated by state regulations
- At least 5 years of experience in a clinical management capacity
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other relevant software
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time within the assigned region
