Corporate Regional Dietitian
Oversee and guide registered dietitians and clinical managers within a designated area to ensure clinical excellence and operational efficiency. Collaborate with corporate and regional dietitians to enhance clinical nutrition initiatives. Contribute to achieving high standards of care and enhancing patient satisfaction and safety. Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations governing clinical nutrition services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and mentor registered dietitians and clinical nutrition managers
- Evaluate dietitians' compliance with regulatory standards
- Conduct assessments and provide coaching and support to team members
- Manage staffing and productivity to maintain adequate clinical coverage
- Implement processes and initiate improvements in areas needing attention
- Develop or maintain facility-specific menu cycles to cater to individual patient nutritional requirements in accordance with regulations
- Assist patient services teams in ensuring patient safety and satisfaction
- Conduct clinical and sanitation readiness audits and create corrective action plans
- Adhere to HHS policies and facility procedures
Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and Licensed Nutritionist (LDN) or Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN) as mandated by state laws
- At least 5 years of experience in a clinical management capacity
- Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and various software applications
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time within the assigned region
