Position Overview
As a Regional Corporate Dietitian, you will be responsible for mentoring and training registered dietitians and clinical managers within your designated area to ensure clinical proficiency and productivity. Collaborate closely with corporate and regional dietitians to enhance clinical nutrition programs. Your role will support initiatives aimed at achieving high standards of care while improving patient satisfaction and safety. Compliance with state and federal regulatory guidelines for all clinical nutrition services is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and mentor registered dietitians and clinical nutrition managers.
- Evaluate dietitians' individual competencies to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conduct assessments and provide coaching and counseling to team members as necessary.
- Oversee staffing and productivity to guarantee sufficient clinical coverage.
- Ensure adherence to processes and initiate performance enhancements in identified areas.
- Develop or maintain facility-specific menu cycles tailored to meet individual patient nutritional requirements in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Guide the patient services team in enhancing patient safety and satisfaction.
- Conduct clinical and sanitation survey readiness audits and formulate corrective action plans.
- Comply with HHS and facility policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with Commission of Dietetic Registration and Licensed Nutritionist (LDN) or Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN), as mandated by state regulations.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical management capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other relevant software.
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time within the assigned region.
