Role Overview

As a Corporate Regional Dietitian, you will be responsible for mentoring and guiding registered dietitians and clinical managers within your designated area to ensure high standards of clinical competency and productivity. Collaborate closely with corporate and regional dietitians to enhance clinical nutrition initiatives. Your efforts will contribute to achieving a high quality of care and improving patient satisfaction and safety. Compliance with state and federal regulations governing clinical nutrition services is paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor registered dietitians and clinical nutrition managers.
  • Assess dietitians' competencies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Conduct evaluations and provide coaching and guidance to team members as necessary.
  • Oversee staffing and productivity to guarantee sufficient clinical coverage.
  • Implement processes and initiate improvements in areas requiring attention.
  • Develop and maintain facility-specific menu cycles tailored to meet individual patient nutritional requirements in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Support the patient services team in enhancing patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Conduct clinical and sanitation readiness audits and formulate corrective action plans.
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures of HHS and the respective facilities.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with appropriate licensure as per state regulations (LDN or CDN).
  • At least 5 years of experience in a clinical management capacity.
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other relevant software.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time within the assigned region.
