Job Summary

CRH is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret technical specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
  • Set up and operate a variety of machinery and equipment to produce high-quality products
  • Monitor machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions and perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime
  • Review products for quality and consistency, making adjustments as needed to meet production standards
  • Assist other team members with setup and operation of machinery and equipment
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on machinery and equipment, including electrical and mechanical work
  • Test and troubleshoot malfunctioning machinery, determining repairs and implementing solutions
  • Replace faulty parts, electrical wires, motors, controls, and circuit boards as needed
  • Install new equipment and electrical components, testing to ensure proper functioning
  • Lubricate and clean machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; or at least 1 month of related experience in trades specific to job requirements; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to understand mechanical schematics, electrical prints, and operations manuals
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, electricity, carpentry, or related field preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
  • VFD and electrical experience a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to lift tools, machinery parts, and other objects weighing up to 80lbs
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
