Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Equipment: Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues with plant equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Building Maintenance and Repairs: Perform repairs and maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, lighting, and forklifts.
  • Quality and Safety: Report food safety and quality issues to management and ensure compliance with all food safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: 2-year degree in electronics/maintenance mechanics or 3+ years of experience in a maintenance mechanic role.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of CMMS, lockout/tagout programs, boiler operations, and ammonia, freon, or other cooling media.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and intermediate computer skills.
