Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Foreman to lead our team of technicians in the repair and maintenance of commercial trucks at our Heavy Duty Diesel Truck dealership in Batavia, NY.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of mechanics in the repair and maintenance of commercial trucks.
  • Coordinate workflow and assign tasks to ensure timely completion of jobs.
  • Provide technical guidance and assistance to team members as needed.
  • Conduct inspections and diagnose mechanical issues on vehicles.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
  • Communicate with customers regarding service updates and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Perform administrative duties such as scheduling, timekeeping, and record-keeping.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in diesel mechanics, preferably in a dealership environment.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with computerized diagnostic tools and software.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
