Front Desk Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Elms Hotel & Spa. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process, and promoting hotel services and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and register guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs, handling room assignments, payments, and other related tasks.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests, resolving issues in a timely and friendly manner.
- Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities, maximizing room occupancy.
- Field guest complaints, conduct research, and resolve and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction.
- Receive, input, retrieve, and relay messages to guests.
- Assist with bartending, taking orders, and making food in our restaurant.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Knowledge of hotel operations and services.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
