As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience from check-in to check-out.
Responsibilities:
- Guest Check-in/Check-out: Welcome guests, manage their information, distribute room assignments, and answer general inquiries to ensure a smooth and efficient check-in/check-out process.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with housekeeping to ensure guest rooms are ready, perform regular bookkeeping duties, and provide accurate information about hotel amenities, room rates, and services.
- Reservation Management: Manage room bookings in-person, online, and through incoming calls, and answer inquiries about guest needs, including questions about available rooms, amenities, room rates, special requests, and rewards programs.
- Customer Service: Field customer complaints, provide information about hotel services and amenities, and confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees.
- Sales and Upselling: Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate, to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
Qualifications:
- Customer Service Skills: Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations.
- Experience: 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred.
- Technical Skills: Has previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems.
- Education: High school graduate, GED recipient, or equivalent.
Compensation: $14 - $16+
