Job Overview

The Site Administration Director plays a crucial role in overseeing a branch of an environmental rental equipment company. This position entails the management and coordination of office operations and administrative functions, ensuring compliance with safety and efficiency standards. The Site Administration Director is also tasked with establishing effective communication protocols within the office, optimizing administrative workflows, managing inventory, overseeing staff, and delegating tasks effectively. A successful candidate will employ critical thinking skills while maintaining a broad perspective on site management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for maintenance, shipping, supplies, billing, and errands.
  • Facilitate and organize company meetings and schedules.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to uphold necessary policies.
  • Streamline office and operational procedures.
  • Coordinate with IT regarding all office technology.
  • Foster positive relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlords.
  • Provide comprehensive support to clients and visitors.
  • Oversee office services by ensuring that operations and procedures are well-organized, correspondences are managed, filing systems are efficient, supply requests are approved, and clerical tasks are appropriately assigned and monitored.
  • Develop and implement site-specific policies by establishing clear procedures and standards.
  • Ensure employees meet weekly performance targets and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members while monitoring their progress.
  • Supervise, mentor, and manage office staff by assigning and overseeing clerical, administrative, and secretarial duties.
  • Guide Department Managers to ensure that business operations align with established procedures.
  • Maintain regulatory documentation and records for all employees at the site.
  • Conduct reviews and analyses of special projects, keeping executive management informed.
  • Lead the recruitment process for site staff, providing orientation and training for new hires.
  • Enhance staff performance through effective coaching and mentoring.
  • Provide training across all areas of the organization.

Qualifications:

*Preferred: College degree, though not mandatory.

*Preferred: Background in technical fields or related technologies, though not mandatory.

*Required: Managerial experience.

*Essential: Strong critical thinking skills, with a high level of organization and coordination.


Compensation:

  • Annual salary of $65,000, including a 401k plan, medical, dental, and vision benefits, as well as complimentary group life insurance.
