EquipmentShare is a leading equipment rental company that is expanding into new markets. We are seeking a talented General Manager to lead our pioneering teams in the Northeast region.

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned leader with a proven track record in the rental industry or a similar field. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for leading by example, building and developing an exceptional team, and maximizing branch performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by Example: Inspire the team to perform at their highest potential and set the tone for a positive and productive work environment.
  • Team Development: Build and develop a high-performing team by coaching, mentoring, and performance managing others.
  • Branch Performance: Maximize branch performance by managing operations, balancing work hours and payroll, and conducting monthly profit and loss reviews.
  • Key Metrics: Monitor key metrics such as equipment utilization, warranty recovery, billed mechanical hours, and customer satisfaction.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively and clearly with the team, keeping management informed of issues and actions taken.
  • Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflicts and establish reasonable goals with well-defined expectations for the team.
  • Compliance: Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • Leadership Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role where you have coached, mentored, and performance managed others.
  • Industry Expertise: Minimum of 10 years of experience in the rental industry or a similar field.
  • Profit and Loss Experience: Proven experience as a main leader or executive overseeing Profit and Loss responsibilities.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-Driven Mindset: Results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
