Job Summary

Aire Serv Heating and Air is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our HVAC services. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of professionals, managing projects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Provide strategic leadership to the operations team and promote a positive work culture.
    • Set performance goals, monitor progress, and provide feedback to employees.
    • Train, mentor, and motivate staff to achieve operational excellence.
    • Foster teamwork and collaboration among team members.
  • Operational Planning and Strategy
    • Develop and implement operational plans, strategies, and procedures to achieve company objectives.
    • Optimize resource allocation to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
    • Analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and propose strategies to enhance business growth and competitiveness.
    • Monitor industry standards, regulations, and technological advancements in the HVAC field and recommend improvements.
  • Project Management
    • Manage and coordinate multiple HVAC projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
    • Collaborate with sales and estimating teams to review project requirements, proposals, and contracts.
    • Allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to execute projects effectively.
    • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Implement and maintain quality control processes and standards for HVAC installations, repairs, and maintenance.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements.
    • Develop and implement corrective actions to address quality issues and improve overall service delivery.
  • Vendor and Supplier Management
    • Evaluate and select reliable vendors and suppliers for HVAC equipment, materials, and services.
    • Negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships, and monitor performance.
    • Maintain inventory levels and optimize procurement processes to meet project requirements and minimize costs.
  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and expectations.
    • Ensure timely and effective communication with clients regarding project updates, schedules, and any issues that may arise.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and implement measures to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Health, Safety, and Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all operational activities.
    • Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures to protect employees, clients, and the public.
    • Conduct regular safety training sessions and promote a culture of safety awareness.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and manage the operations budget, tracking expenses and revenue.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to improve financial performance.
    • Review financial reports, analyze variances, and provide recommendations for cost control.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Generate reports on operational performance, project status, and key performance indicators.
    • Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.
    • Provide regular updates to senior management on operations, challenges, and achievements.
