Position Overview

The E-Commerce Marketing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in executing and overseeing strategies for Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Initiatives, Email Marketing, Paid Advertising, and Promotions for Irrigation Station - Katy. This position requires close collaboration with the Digital Operations team and the Corporate Marketing Department to drive success in these areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement growth strategies aimed at customer acquisition for the eCommerce platform, enhancing the overall performance of Irrigation Station - Katy.
  • Assist in SEO efforts by working with the Content Specialist to create product and content pages that are comprehensive, optimized for search engines, and rich in relevant keywords. Partner with the web development team to design landing pages that enhance user experience.
  • Oversee and manage Google Ads, Amazon advertising, and all paid social media platforms.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in digital marketing channels, ensuring effective onboarding, optimization, and content creation for daily social media management.
  • Align marketing campaigns with sales initiatives to maximize impact.
  • Compile marketing reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing sales data to inform future strategies.
  • Lead the execution of paid media campaigns for eCommerce, including proposal development, campaign launch, and ongoing management. Provide actionable insights to enhance performance and efficiency, collaborating with third-party vendors for Google Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns.
  • Identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs), utilizing insights to formulate new business strategies. Regularly measure and report on the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns against established goals.
  • Formulate audience growth strategies that leverage organic acquisition and social media channels to expand the subscriber base.
  • Implement email marketing campaigns based on promotional opportunities, educational content, or customer engagement.
  • Monitor and enhance acquisition funnels through continuous analysis and optimization, validating improvements through research and best practices.
  • Organize promotional presentations and maintain updated marketing calendars.
  • Manage social media channels and location listings, ensuring timely responses and creating engaging content.
  • Collaborate with the team to establish a content strategy and promotional calendar on a monthly basis.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in various digital marketing roles.
  • At least two years of experience with a marketing automation platform such as Hubspot, Marketo, or Pardot.
  • Proficiency in website analytics tools, particularly Google Analytics.
  • Strong understanding of on-page SEO best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, presentation, and multitasking abilities.
  • Creative and open-minded, with a passion for finding innovative solutions to challenges.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a larger team.
  • Enthusiastic about digital marketing and staying updated on the latest eCommerce trends.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and automation techniques for eCommerce.
  • Experience in the B2C eCommerce sector is required, preferably with the Magento platform.
  • A collaborative team player with strong work ethics and respect for organizational structures.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on experience in creating paid advertising campaigns, with knowledge of UTM parameters and Google Analytics.
  • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager for tag implementation and tracking.
  • Knowledge of email platform software to effectively capture leads.
  • Strong understanding of website functionality and purpose.
  • High energy, self-motivated, and proactive in taking initiative.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred; however, a high school diploma (or equivalent) combined with significant experience will be considered.
