Job Summary

We are seeking a Proposal Coordinator for an onsite role with our Marketing team in any one of our BGE office locations. This position will report to the Lead Proposal Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and implement the BGE proposal process.
  • Support the Proposal Manager and proposal team to ensure the timely completion of assigned proposals.
  • Research, write, and edit resumes, project descriptions, forms, and other content.
  • Proofread proposal content, ensuring compliance with client requirements, readability, grammar, and spelling.
  • Assist with the assembly and submission of the assigned proposal in hard and/or electronic copy document format.
  • Be responsible for project closeout, which includes:
    • Updating and maintaining the project and resume libraries and updating the boilerplate library.
    • Assist with other projects as requested by the Proposal Team/Marketing Group.

Requirements

  • Experience in the development of proposals is preferred but not required - Construction, Architecture, Engineering industry is preferred, but not required.
  • Familiar with Adobe Suite, specifically InDesign is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks or projects at various levels of completion.
  • Attention to detail, organized, dependable, and deadline-driven.
  • Possess written and verbal communication skills and the ability to connect with people of all technical backgrounds.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with teammates.
  • Ability to proofread and edit proposal and presentation content.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a complex team environment and to manage multiple tasks.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field, is preferred, but not required.
