Business Development Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at ChampionX. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving and executing the sales strategy that leads to revenue growth. This is a highly visible role that requires a unique combination of strategic thinking and tactical sales execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth
- Identify and establish strategic business relationships with major operators
- Work closely with customers to understand business needs and recommend solutions
- Partner with the Customer Success team to deliver technical presentations and provide solutions to targeted customers
- Maintain a working knowledge of automation software trends, business market trends, and competing technologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field
- 8 years of experience in a sales manager, business development, or sales engineer role
- Strong sales network within the oil and gas industry with a proven success in acquiring new customers
- Strategic mindset, with the ability to develop sales strategies, analytical, and implementation skills
- Ability and willingness to get into detail to resolve problems
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Competitive attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to enthusiastically represent the company
- Availability to travel within the US as required up to 50%
- Valid driver's license in the state of residence required
