Job Title: Business Development Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to lead our Business Unit and drive growth through strategic planning, sales, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the environmental services industry, with a strong background in business development, sales, and operations management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Business Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive business strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Lead Sales Efforts: Work closely with the sales team to drive commercial, industrial, residential, and municipal sales efforts, with a focus on achieving targeted growth objectives and exceeding customer experience expectations.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the effective management of operations, including safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Performance Management: Manage the performance of the Business Unit, including talent development, employee engagement, and retention.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with government, community, and environmental groups.
Requirements:
- Business Acumen: Demonstrated business acumen, strategic thinking, and ability to execute against formulated strategy.
- Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience in the environmental services industry, with a strong background in business development, sales, and operations management.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to optimize near-term results that contribute to long-term sustainable success.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3 Years of Leadership Experience: Minimum 3 years of progressive leadership and management responsibility.
- Minimum 3 Years of P & L Experience: Minimum 3 years of P & L experience.
