Position Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Account Executive to join our expanding Oncology Sales team. This role involves collaborating closely with sales leadership to formulate and execute market strategies aimed at driving business growth for oncology healthcare providers. The Account Executive will be responsible for promoting our cutting-edge liquid biopsy products and fostering relationships with healthcare practices, cancer centers, integrated delivery networks, and academic medical institutions within the designated territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue strategic business development opportunities with major cancer centers and leading oncology practices.
  • Develop comprehensive strategic plans to acquire and retain clients.
  • Maximize contracting opportunities with clients.
  • Facilitate laboratory services agreements with billing institutions.
  • Collaborate with various sales roles to achieve company objectives.
  • Analyze competitive trends and provide insights to leadership.
  • Monitor sales performance to ensure targets are met.
  • Create and implement a detailed business plan for the territory, including budgeting and goal setting.
  • Foster cross-departmental collaboration to achieve organizational goals.
  • Represent and embody the core values of Guardant Health in all interactions.
Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience in account management within a molecular diagnostics environment.
  • 3-5 years of experience working with major oncology practices and health systems.
  • Proven track record of revenue generation in diagnostics or biotechnology.
  • Ability to deliver integrated solutions using advanced sequencing technology.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to address client objections.
  • Experience communicating with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the oncology reimbursement landscape.
  • Proficient in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • In-depth knowledge of molecular diagnostics and oncology.
  • Exceptional negotiation and customer service abilities.
  • Strong strategic sales planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the territory.
Education:

Bachelor's degree in life sciences, biology, business, or marketing is preferred.
