About the Role
As a Strategic Account Executive at Ramp, you will act as the primary liaison post-sale, responsible for driving product and expenditure activation and fostering long-term growth by managing onboarding, implementation, expansion, and retention across a portfolio of small to medium-sized business clients.

This role offers the chance to contribute to the development and enhancement of Ramp's post-sales organization and to shape the customer strategy that propels our growth.

What You'll Do
  • Generate revenue for Ramp by overseeing onboarding, implementation, expansion, renewals, retention, and overall growth across a portfolio of approximately 150-200 SMB clients.
  • You will directly manage a revenue target for your client portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the Account Executive team to gain a deep understanding of new clients' workflows, challenges, priorities, and barriers to achieving a full implementation.
  • Ensure prompt, thorough, and complete product onboarding and expenditure migration of new Ramp clients within 60 days by educating them on Ramp's best practices.
  • Once implementation is finalized, conduct Quarterly Business Reviews within your portfolio to identify growth opportunities and work with clients to maximize ROI.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives and finance/accounting professionals to understand their challenges and priorities, enhancing the utilization of Ramp.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure customer feedback is collected and prioritized to improve the customer experience.
What You Need
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, customer success, or account management within a B2B environment.
  • A proven history of exceeding quotas and/or outperforming key performance metrics.
  • Exceptional project management and time management abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills.
  • A desire to thoroughly understand the product and become an expert in Ramp's full range of offerings, integrations, and configurations.
  • The ability to anticipate client needs and position product solutions accordingly.
  • Intellectual curiosity to support clients across various industries.
  • The capability to proactively identify expansion opportunities to drive additional revenue and growth within the existing client base.
  • High adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with basic sales tools and common metrics.
