Developmental Disability Physician Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician (Part-time) to join our team at the North Bay Regional Center. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide developmental and intake evaluations, eligibility determination, and support for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Our mission is to promote opportunities by supporting choices for people with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities- Provide developmental and intake evaluations and recommendations
- Support the intake team with assessments
- Perform a variety of medical functions under the general direction of the Intake Department Manager
- Assist agencies and professional persons in developing generic services for the developmentally disabled
- Maintain knowledge of developmental disabilities through continuing medical education
- Possession of an M.D. or D.O. degree and five years' experience including certification or eligibility for certification by a specialty board such as Family Practice, Pediatrics, Neurology or Internal Medicine
- Experience with developmental disabilities is a plus
- California medical license required
