Autism and Developmental Disabilities Therapist

The Bay School in Santa Cruz, California, is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team of professionals dedicated to supporting students with autism and developmental disabilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement educational and treatment programs tailored to meet the needs of students with autism and related disabilities.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless integration of speech-language pathology services into the educational program.
- Conduct assessments to identify communication strengths and challenges, and develop individualized plans to address these areas.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, including individual and group sessions.
- Consult with parents and other caregivers to ensure consistent application of intervention strategies across settings.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Requirements:
- California License in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Preferred qualifications include ASHA Certification in Clinical Competence (CCC) and experience working with students with autism and developmental disabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 based on your experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
