We are a nonprofit private corporation dedicated to providing support and services for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Job Overview

This role is responsible for conducting intake assessments to determine eligibility and connecting individuals with resources. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations and be able to provide outreach and training to community partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather information from individuals, families, and other supports to determine eligibility
  • Complete intake social assessments for new referrals
  • Obtain needed records to help determine eligibility
  • Make referrals for Autism or IQ testing if necessary
  • Prepare written and verbal reports
  • Track intake timelines
  • Participate in eligibility committee meetings
  • Provide generic resources for financial assistance, housing, employment, education, etc.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in a field related to developmental disabilities
  • OR Bachelor's degree in a field that offers content related to developmental disabilities, such as social work, psychology, counseling, or special education, and three years' employment in a field related to developmental disabilities
  • OR Bachelor's degree and two years of case management experience at a regional center
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, minimum legal automobile liability insurance, or access to another form of reliable transportation
  • Bilingual Spanish/English speaking required
