Part-Time Developmental Medicine Specialist

North Bay Regional Center is a nonprofit private corporation that contracts with the Department of Developmental Services to coordinate services and supports for individuals with developmental disabilities. Role DescriptionThis part-time position provides developmental and intake evaluations and recommendations, while serving as a member of the interdisciplinary team. The primary responsibility of this position is eligibility determination and supporting the intake team with assessments. Opportunities to provide clinical support may be available on an as needed basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide medical functions under the general direction of the Intake Department Manager.
- Conduct educational sessions for staff, families, and professionals in the community.
- Assist agencies and professional persons in developing generic services for the developmentally disabled.
- Participate in committees and task forces at the discretion of the supervisor.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Possession of an M.D. or D.O. degree and five years' experience including certification or eligibility for certification by a specialty board such as Family Practice, Pediatrics, Neurology, or Internal Medicine.
- California medical license required.
- Ability to provide personal automobile transportation, or access to another form of reliable transportation, during and after working hours.

Our estimated salary for this role is $74 – $104 per hour.
