**Make a Difference as a Developmental Disabilities Specialist**

The Bay School, a nonpublic school located in Santa Cruz, California, is part of The May Institute Inc, a national organization of award-winning programs for individuals with autism, brain injury, intellectual disabilities, and other behavioral healthcare needs. We are seeking a highly skilled 1099 Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team as a Developmental Disabilities Specialist.

This part-time position offers flexibility, with the opportunity to choose specific days Monday through Friday and flexible hours from 8:30 AM to 2:45 PM. Our goal is to provide exceptional educational and treatment programming related to communication goals for students with autism and related disabilities.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement educational and treatment plans for students with autism and related disabilities.
  • Collaborate with classroom staff to ensure effective implementation of strategies.
  • Assess students using appropriate evaluation practices and contribute to the development of functional transferable goals.
  • Create treatment resources and assemble multi-disciplinary Communication Passports for matriculating students.

Your Ideal Skills and Qualifications:

  • CA Licensed SLP.
  • ASHA CCCs preferred.
  • Experience working with autistic individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

Estimated Salary:** $75,000 - $100,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
