About the Role:

  • Provide medical care to patients with intellectual disabilities, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of associated conditions.
  • Develop and implement clinical standards and protocols for the care of patients with developmental disabilities.
  • Collaborate with local agencies, such as regional centers, to ensure high-quality care and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Supervise a team of clinicians and support staff to provide comprehensive care to patients with developmental disabilities.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices and advancements in the field.

About You:

  • You have a passion for providing high-quality care to individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • You are a board-certified physician or nurse practitioner with experience working with patients with intellectual disabilities.
  • You are comfortable with leadership roles and have experience supervising staff.
  • You are committed to staying current with industry developments and best practices.
