Overview of the Position

ASML US unites innovative thinkers in science and technology to create lithography systems essential for manufacturing advanced microchips. As a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be accountable for assessing the quality of the development processes and outputs within the department. Your role involves spearheading quality enhancements, addressing customer concerns using ASML's methodologies, conducting design and process failure mode-effect analyses, and facilitating training as necessary. You will also have the chance to influence the evolution of a new quality role within a design and development framework.

Act as the Voice of the Internal/External Customer (VoC) by providing feedback from various stakeholders, including customers, customer service, and supply chain, to enhance operational excellence. Regularly offer insights on performance metrics related to parts usage, product performance, and quality-sensitive elements in the design process.

Qualifications and Experience

A degree in relevant fields such as Applied Physics, Electrical, Mechanical, Optical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechatronic Engineering is required, along with the following experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Master's degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • PhD with a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Essential qualifications include:

  • Technical expertise in Data Visualization, Data Science (Machine Learning), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools (e.g., Python, Tableau, MATLAB, Advanced Excel).
  • Hands-on experience with software tools, particularly Microsoft Office, with a focus on advanced data analysis using Excel.
  • Strong command of English, both verbal and written.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and leveraging lessons learned.
  • Ability to persuade others of your ideas.
  • Skills in change management.
  • Analytical prowess combined with a pragmatic approach.

Additional Information

This role requires on-site presence to facilitate teamwork, collaboration, and innovation. A flexible work arrangement may be available for roles suitable for remote work.

This position may require access to controlled technology as defined in the Export Administration Regulations. Qualified candidates must be authorized to access such technology prior to commencing employment.
