Position Summary:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support vacuum coating and etching processes.
- Leverage extensive knowledge in optical and semiconductor production.
- Oversee a diverse array of vacuum equipment utilizing various technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 15 years of experience in optical or semiconductor production.
- Thorough understanding of vacuum systems and their maintenance.
- Expertise in thin film deposition technologies and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and maintain equipment for optimal reliability.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans.
- Identify critical spare parts to ensure rapid response to unexpected downtimes.
- Improve maintenance efficiency through standardized procedures.
- Plan equipment upgrades and assess end-of-life machinery.
- Provide hands-on assistance for equipment modifications and enhancements.
- Support Maintenance Teams with advanced troubleshooting efforts.
