Role Summary
This role is tailored for a Junior Computer Engineer with a forward-thinking mindset, joining the Production Engineering Test department.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Production and Development test engineers to aid in the creation, execution, and deployment of multidisciplinary testing apparatus.
- Implement established procedures and protocols for optimal networking practices.
- Contribute to the enhancement and safety of network-connected production testing setups within manufacturing environments.
- Provide support for Electro-Mechanical testing equipment and module performance on a daily basis.

Technical Duties
- Address a diverse range of challenges related to Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Computer, and Networking systems.
- Assist engineers in promptly troubleshooting electro-mechanical modules and subassemblies.
- Rapidly assimilate technical knowledge through documentation and hands-on training.
- Manage software and backup installations on production testing setups.

Network Support
- Facilitate Computer OS and programming language upgrades for proprietary tools, including investigation, planning, and implementation.
- Aid in the onboarding of computers to the local network and develop troubleshooting guidelines.

Data Analysis
- Support the analysis of testing data to draw meaningful conclusions and assist in the development of manufacturing protocols and technical work instructions.

Collaboration
- Work alongside team members to devise hardware/software solutions for secure connections between factory equipment and the factory network.

Work Environment
- Spend approximately 50% of time in a Cleanroom, directly supporting production testing engineering and resolving computer and network issues.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in fields such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Networking.
- 1-2 years of experience in relevant disciplines, with software knowledge in C#, C/C++, LabView, Python, MS Visual Studio, and MATLAB considered advantageous.
- Familiarity with networking, Windows, Unix, and proprietary operating systems, along with basic electrical engineering principles and testing equipment usage.
