Core Role: Senior Optical Equipment Engineer

Position Summary:

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance vacuum coating and etching methodologies.
  • Leverage extensive knowledge in optical and semiconductor production processes.
  • Oversee a diverse array of vacuum apparatus employing various technological approaches.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 15 years of experience in the optical or semiconductor sectors.
  • Comprehensive understanding of vacuum technologies and their upkeep.
  • Expertise in thin film deposition techniques and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and sustain equipment based on operational reliability.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans.
  • Identify critical spare parts to ensure rapid response to unexpected equipment failures.
  • Improve maintenance efficiency through established protocols.
  • Plan for equipment upgrades and assess end-of-life machinery.
  • Provide practical assistance for equipment enhancements and modifications.
  • Support Maintenance Teams with complex troubleshooting tasks.
