A Service Desk Consultant position is available with Aegistech, a prominent player in the private equity sector. This role is on-site and offers a consulting opportunity with the potential for permanent placement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Addressing client support inquiries and issues.
  • Engaging with clients to ascertain the specifics of their challenges and collecting necessary information.
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software complications.
  • Setting up and maintaining hardware and associated peripherals.
  • Rectifying networking and connectivity problems across all devices.
  • Ensuring all support tickets are updated and thoroughly documented.
  • Delivering training on computer operations and management to enhance user experience.
  • Preparing laptops and onboarding new employees.
  • Managing and tracking assets related to devices and peripherals.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting Mac OSX, iOS, Windows 10, and Microsoft O365.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in providing technical support within the financial industry.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting the Office 365 suite, Zoom, Windows 10, Mac OSX, iOS, Bloomberg, and other financial software applications. (Experience in finance is advantageous but not essential)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to manage projects independently.
  • Familiarity with network technologies, including Local Area Networks, Home Networks, and VPNs.
  • Ability to adhere to tight deadlines and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with personnel at all organizational levels.
