Job Overview

We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide essential assistance in delivering our company's services through various communication channels.

The ideal candidate will engage with clients with professionalism and respect, showcasing our commitment to exceptional service and in-depth knowledge of our offerings and internal procedures. This role requires a significant degree of autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high volume of incoming calls, emails, and faxes.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently.
  • Exhibit strong customer service skills.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Possess a foundational understanding of SQL.
  • Availability to work on weekends is required.
  • Display effective oral and written communication abilities.
  • Assist other departments as necessary.
  • Familiarity with Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems.
  • Perform data entry tasks into computer systems.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Conduct IT diagnostics for browsers, printers, and scanners.
  • Provide remote troubleshooting and solutions.
  • Set up and configure new computers and upgrades.
  • Support email configuration and management.
  • Implement software updates and maintenance.
  • Install and configure hardware and software.
  • Resolve internet connectivity challenges.
  • Conduct general maintenance and repairs.
  • Manage crisis situations effectively.
  • Handle virus detection and removal.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong time management capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Language Proficiency:

Fluency in Spanish is essential; proficiency in English is highly desirable, and knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to perform calculations involving discounts, proportions, and percentages, as well as basic algebraic concepts.

Computer Skills:

Competence in using Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with PowerPoint is advantageous.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions provided in various formats.

Work Environment:

Physical Demands:

This position requires regular sitting and may occasionally involve lifting objects weighing between 20-40 lbs.
