Job Overview

The Technical Support Analyst provides both onsite and remote assistance for a diverse range of clients, utilizing effective time management and technical expertise to ensure timely resolution of support requests.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage with clients regarding support inquiries through various communication channels.
  • Deliver assistance to multiple clients via remote access.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve new client issues in collaboration with third-party vendors in a professional manner.
  • Maintain a productive work environment from home, ensuring a quiet space with reliable internet connectivity.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a support specialist or help desk role.
  • Proficient in operating systems, particularly Windows Server and workstations, with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Network management experience (2 years); capable of handling basic network troubleshooting, including connectivity issues.
  • Experience in designing, installing, and supporting networks across various environments for different clients.
  • Microsoft certifications are advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of Windows Domain workstation software installation and support.
  • Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven track record in implementing IT projects effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to provide swift and effective solutions to network challenges.
  • Commitment to ensuring uninterrupted operations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster relationships conducive to team collaboration.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A valid driver's license and personal vehicle are required for travel to client sites.

Contact Interactions:

  • Regular communication with various clients regarding technical matters.

Work Environment:

  • Approximately 70% of work will occur at client locations, where conditions may vary. The role requires the ability to lift and move user workstations, network devices, and printers. Prolonged periods of sitting in front of a computer monitor while using a keyboard and mouse are expected. Some tasks may be performed from home, necessitating a dedicated quiet workspace with internet access and an available internet port for work-related devices.
