About the Role

The Practice Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the daily operations of our inpatient medicine practice. This individual will be responsible for providing administrative support to our medical team, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with hospital staff, and contributing to the overall success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Practice Operations
    • Provide general administrative support to the medical team, including scheduling, data entry, and record-keeping.
    • Assist with meeting management, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and distributing materials.
    • Collaborate with the medical director and practice management team to develop and maintain practice policies and procedures.
    • Facilitate daily patient census and reconciliation, as well as multi-disciplinary rounds.
    • Ensure accurate and timely completion of patient records, death certificates, and other administrative tasks.
  • Staffing Operations
    • Create and optimize clinical schedules to ensure accurate shift documentation and payroll processing.
    • Review and validate shift and productivity data for accurate processing.
  • Client Retention
    • Serve as a liaison between hospital executives and staff, addressing hospital needs and concerns.
    • Coordinate monthly and quarterly meetings and events with hospital partner leadership, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and meeting minutes.
    • Maintain accurate client-facing materials, ensuring they reflect Sound's current standards.
    • Track and report on key performance indicators as requested.

  • Experience
    • 1-2 years of administrative support experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment.
    • 1-2 years in customer service.
