Position Overview:

In this role, you will assist the director of Physical Therapy in managing the daily operations of the Administration area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the mission and vision of the department.
  • Organize and coordinate activities for the director and department staff, effectively managing a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Draft various forms of correspondence, including letters, memos, and reports.
  • Schedule meetings, distribute agendas, and prepare meeting materials. Document minutes as needed and handle interdepartmental communications.
  • Maintain updated contact lists and telephone directories.
  • Gather and manage data metrics to support the department's quality initiatives.
  • Evaluate issues and organize data for comparison and analysis.
  • Develop innovative solutions to overcome communication challenges.
  • Foster a Culture of Safety to ensure a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires and contracted staff, including access requests and orientation.
  • Maintain personnel files and ensure compliance with credentialing requirements.
  • Oversee the department's online presence and maintain inventory of office supplies.
  • Engage in Lean methodology practices to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Participate in daily team meetings and manage assigned responsibilities effectively.
  • Encourage a collaborative work atmosphere that values shared ideas and collective goals.
  • Contribute to various departmental initiatives and assist in hospital-wide efforts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
