We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Family Support Partner to join our team at Community Counseling of Bristol County. As a Family Support Partner, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to families and youth with mental health and/or substance use challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide a caregiver perspective and ensure that treatment goals support family-collaboration principles.
- Teach advocacy skills and provide education on how to identify natural supports, advocate for youth within educational systems, and obtain resources necessary to improve family functioning.
- Share experiences of raising a child with emotional and behavioral health needs.
- Work in the home and community to provide coaching and support to caregivers.
- Coordinate care with the family, team, providers, and relevant authorities.
- Complete required documentation per program guidelines.
- Experience as a caregiver of youth with mental health and/or co-occurring substance use challenges.
- High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years working with children/families, or
- Associates degree in a human service field and 1 year of experience working with children/families, or
- Bachelor's degree in the human services field and 1 year of experience working with children and families.

- Must have a current, valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
