Position Summary and Qualifications

The Certified Respiratory Care Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-focused respiratory care in line with departmental standards and state regulations.

As an integral member of the healthcare team, you will conduct various diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures while monitoring patients on both invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation.

Qualifications include:
- Current Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required within six months of hire.
- Graduation from a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care program.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and moving equipment.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Your responsibilities will include:


- Operating acute care ventilators for mechanical ventilation.
- Maintaining accurate departmental records and entering data into the hospital's system.
- Providing compassionate care to patients during procedures.
