Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Administering and managing acute care ventilators for both short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
  • Demonstrating self-direction in the absence of the full-time Team Leader.
  • Maintaining accurate departmental and hospital records, ensuring precise data entry into the hospital's information system.
  • Setting up and executing a variety of respiratory therapy procedures for patients across all age groups.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited respiratory care program (Associate's Degree); Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Current Florida State License as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
  • Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) to be obtained within six months of hire.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and moving equipment frequently.

No travel is required for this position.
