Job Summary and Qualifications


To qualify for this role, candidates should possess:

  • Completion of a Vocational/Technical program or an AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associate's Degree); a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Current Florida State License as a Certified Respiratory Therapist.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications within six months of hire.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and moving equipment.

Your Responsibilities


As a Certified Respiratory Therapist PRN, you will:

  • Operate and manage acute care ventilators for both short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
  • Work independently in the absence of the full-time Team Leader.
  • Maintain accurate departmental and hospital records, ensuring proper documentation in the hospital's computer system.
  • Administer a variety of routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures for patients of all ages.

No travel is required for this position, and prior experience is not mandatory.
