Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Office Manager to join our team at SCI Shared Resources LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day activities of our funeral home, cemetery, and crematory operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounting functions, including accounts receivable and payable, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Coordinate the processing of orders and receipt of merchandise, including memorials and caskets.
  • Oversee the installation of funeral-related orders and ensure timely completion of contracts and work orders.
  • Support location management in ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, including SOX audit, Dignity University training, and Interment Verification Training.
  • Assist in preparing and overseeing funeral/cemetery-related forms and reports.
  • Administer local HR processes, including new hire paperwork, employee files, and confidential documents.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with families in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Maintain and update customer records and company website with current obituaries.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of bookkeeping, general office, and accounting experience preferred.
  • Solid working knowledge of computers, MS Office, and basic office equipment required.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a high level of compassion, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to multitask, set priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

Professional dress required when interacting with families. Work involves sitting for extended periods, climbing stairs, and physical effort requiring manual dexterity.

Working beyond standard hours may be required to meet business needs.
