Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Office Manager to join our team at Service Corporation International. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality services and products for our clients, while maintaining a positive employee relations atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounting and Financial Management
    • Manage accounts receivable and payable, including collections and verifications
    • Control cash payments and maintain petty cash account
    • Reconcile all accounts and verify cash disbursement reports
  • Operational Activities
    • Order supplies and complete inventory counts
    • Coordinate processing of orders and receipt of merchandise
    • Oversee installation of funeral-related orders and support location management
  • Human Resources and Administration
    • Process new hire paperwork and maintain employee files
    • Administer corporate payroll policies and procedures
    • Train associates in policies and procedures
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Interact with families in a professional and compassionate manner
    • Maintain and update customer records
    • Provide a collaborative and productive work environment
Requirements
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience
    • Two years of bookkeeping, general office, and accounting experience required
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to multitask and set priorities
    • Detail-oriented and flexible
Work Environment

Professional dress required when interacting with families. Sitting for long periods, climbing stairs, and manual dexterity required.
