Position Overview We are currently looking for a dynamic and seasoned Chief Construction Operations Officer to become part of our fast-paced organization. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join a national home builder with a start-up atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in residential construction, particularly in single-family homes. This position will involve managing all construction operations to ensure projects are completed efficiently, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.   1. Oversee all construction operations, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives that align with the company's overall objectives.
  3. Cultivate a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, innovation, and growth.
  4. Collaborate with other senior leaders to assess the feasibility of potential projects, evaluating risks, costs, and potential returns.
  5. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry trends, advancements, and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance operations and maintain a competitive edge.
  6. Ensure all construction operations adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
  7. Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  8. Provide leadership and guidance to the construction team, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications: To be considered for the Chief Construction Operations Officer role, you must have:
  1. A minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience in the construction industry, preferably as a Chief Officer or Director.
  2. Proven experience in residential construction, specifically single-family home projects.
  3. Strong leadership skills, with a history of guiding high-performing teams to success.
  4. Excellent strategic planning and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  5. Strong understanding of construction laws, regulations, and safety standards.
  6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to forge strong relationships with various stakeholders.
  7. A proactive attitude, with the drive and determination to excel in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
  8. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
