Role Overview:

This position is integral to Blue Origin Operations, which encompasses Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. Our team provides Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

As a part of a committed team of specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will engage directly with flight hardware across various spaceflight systems. Your contributions will be pivotal in achieving our goal of enabling human habitation and work in space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing, assembling, and testing hardware for diverse spaceflight systems.
  • Supporting production and development activities that influence rocket launch vehicles and spacecraft.
  • Ensuring safety and repeatability in all aspects of spaceflight operations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in aerospace or related fields.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to foster collaborative discussions among team members.
  • Proficient in using standard mechanical tools and fabrication equipment.
  • A&P license or equivalent experience in assembly and integration of launch vehicles or propulsion systems.
  • Willingness to work Monday through Thursday on the first shift and additional weekend overtime as needed.
  • Ability to build trust and maintain professional relationships within a diverse team.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and integration.
  • Experience with heavy lifting equipment around critical hardware.
  • Familiarity with tube fabrication and pressurized system safety.
  • Knowledge of 3-D CAD tools, preferably ProEngineer, and ability to interpret GD&T.

Compensation:

The compensation range for this position in Washington is $29.03-$40.65. Other site ranges may vary.
