The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Technician II to join our team in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our network infrastructure. As a Field Technician II, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and repairing fiber optic cables, network equipment, and other telecommunications infrastructure. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure the integrity and reliability of our network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, test, and repair fiber optic cables, network equipment, and other telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with network equipment and infrastructure, using industry-standard software and hardware.
  • Asset Management: Manage and maintain inventory of tools, test sets, and network equipment, ensuring that all assets are properly tracked and accounted for.
  • Communication: Collaborate with colleagues and management to ensure effective communication and coordination of work activities.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, using critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in telecommunications, network installation, and maintenance.
  • Skills: Strong technical and mechanical background, with experience in fiber optic installation, network equipment installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required.
