Role Overview:

This position is integral to Blue Origin Operations, which encompasses Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes support for Manufacturing and Supply Chain across all Blue Origin facilities.

As a member of a dedicated team of specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will engage directly with flight hardware for various spaceflight systems. Your contributions will significantly influence the journey towards making space accessible to all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing, assembling, and supporting the testing of hardware for various spaceflight systems.
  • Participating in production and development activities that directly impact rocket launch vehicles and spacecraft.
  • Ensuring a commitment to safety and repeatability in all aspects of spaceflight operations.

Special Notes:

  • Relocation assistance is available.
  • Minimal travel is expected (0-5% of the time).
  • Shifts available: Weekend Days (3X12 hour shifts).
  • Multiple positions are open.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in aerospace or related fields.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and manage differing opinions within a team.
  • Proficiency in using standard mechanical tools and fabrication shop equipment.
  • A&P license or equivalent experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and integration.
  • Availability for Monday through Thursday 1st shift and potential weekend overtime.
  • Ability to foster trust and maintain professional relationships within a diverse team.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and integration.
  • Experience with heavy lifting equipment operation around critical hardware.
  • Familiarity with tube fabrication and pressurized system safety.
  • Knowledge of 3-D CAD tools (ProEngineer preferred) and ability to interpret GD&T.

Compensation:

The compensation range for this position is $29.03-$40.65 for applicants in Washington State. Other site ranges may vary.
