Role Overview:

This position is integral to Blue Origin Operations, which encompasses Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes support for Manufacturing and Supply Chain across all our facilities.

As a member of our diverse team of specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will engage directly with flight hardware for various spaceflight systems. Your contributions will be vital in achieving our goal of making space accessible to everyone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing, assembling, and testing hardware for various spaceflight systems.
  • Supporting production and development activities that influence rocket launch vehicles and spacecraft.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and repeatable spaceflight processes.

Special Highlights:

  • Relocation assistance available.
  • Minimal travel required (0-5%).
  • Weekend shifts: 3X12 hour days with competitive shift differentials.
  • Multiple openings available.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in aerospace or related fields.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in using standard mechanical tools and fabrication equipment.
  • A&P license or equivalent experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and integration.
  • Availability for Monday through Thursday 1st shift and additional weekend overtime as needed.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly.
  • Experience with heavy lifting equipment around critical hardware.
  • Familiarity with tube fabrication and pressurized system safety.
  • Knowledge of 3-D CAD tools and ability to interpret GD&T standards.

Compensation:

The compensation range for this position in Washington is $29.03-$40.65, with variations at other locations.
