Blue Origin Job Opportunity: Project Engineer II - Engine Integration Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer II - Engine Integration Specialist to join our Engines business unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, manufacturing, and testing of engines and propulsion systems for diverse applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project schedules for engine integration components
  • Prioritize, track, and report progress for assembly and testing
  • Create a line of balance for hardware and key equipment
  • Manage and update a hardware usage log
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineering on detailed procedures
  • Coordinate impact assessments for engineering change requests
  • Work on risk mitigation and recovery strategies
  • Track and report on project metrics

Requirements:

  • Passion for Blue Origin's mission
  • B.S. Degree in Engineering
  • 2+ years of aerospace industry experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Aptitude for problem-solving and quick decision-making
  • Understanding of configuration management principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to build effective working relationships
  • Must meet specific U.S. citizenship requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to Engine Ancillary Hardware
  • Experience in complex component development
  • Previous Project Engineer/Project Manager roles
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Primavera P6
  • Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly

Location: Kent, WA

Travel: Up to 15% of the time

Compensation: $96,480-$135,072
